    Using GCF's first Intelligent Warehouse in the UK as an illustrative example, the facility's core setup includes automatic sorting workstations, base-jack robots, smart shelving systems, and an Intelligent Warehouse Management System (WMS). The entire inbound process runs without manual intervention, resulting in a 50% boost to human efficiency and nearly doubling put-away speed in the process.

    Locating products by hand within a storage area has traditionally been one of the slowest, most labor-heavy parts of the outbound fulfillment process. That's changed inside GCF's UK Intelligent Warehouse, where base-jack robots now handle retrieval and sorting, working from real-time system positioning to pull parcels accurately and route them straight to the correct workstation. The result is an outbound process running two to three times faster, with human error nearly eliminated and order accuracy reaching 99.9%.

    There was a time when orders placed after hours simply waited until the next business day, a limitation baked into older employment rules and operational constraints. That's no longer the case. When a customer needs an order out fast, robots keep the warehouse running through the night, processing shipments so everything sits ready the moment morning trucks pull in.
